How to you say "to know" in Spanish? There are two verbs that have two different meanings.

Saber means to know, but more so in a way of saying that you know something, as in you are aware and have the knowledge of something. Conocer is another verb that means to know, except, this verb if used when you are telling someone that you know either know someone or have met them. Conocer is also used when you are expressing familiarity with not only a person, but a place or thing as well.
