I decided to teach from beginners to intermediate to advance level. I often here people saying that they have been learning Spanish for the past six to eight years and still only know, "Hola,

¿Cómo estás?  or ¿De dónde eres? The reason why this is happening is because teachers fail to actually teach the beginner's level efficiently , causing students to be delayed in foreign language learning.

All Things Spanish With Lex

I am going to provide content that I have created for my viewers to get you all engaged in the Spanish language. Spanish is a beautiful language and it can be fun to learn.

Here are six questions that you should ask yourself before embarking on your Spanish learning journey
1.) Why do I want to learn Spanish ?
2.) Which level of Spanish am I currently at now  ?
3.) What am I most excited to learn about the Spanish language ?
4.) Which Spanish dialect am I interested in speaking and learning ?
5.) How many hours per week am I willing to practice/ how will I practice ?
6.) What is my level goal for 6 months from now ?

Here are five pointers that will help you in your Spanish learning Journey
2.) Practice saying words, verbs, and phrases out loud. You will never be able to get a feel to the language unless you say it out loud. The more you say it out loud the better and more quickly it will come from your mouth. By practicing reading in Spanish and definitely speaking out loud you will also eliminate being shy or embarrassed to speak with others.
3.) Set an amount (an actual achievable daily amount) of words to learn per day. If you know that you have busy daily schedules, but want to learn Spanish in between time, then you should learn fewer words or phrases per day, so that you can better recall them. If you know that you work 8 - 12 hour shifts per day and will be tired during your breaks or when you get home from work or other activities then you should aim to learn maybe five - eight words per day, with five being the minimum and eight being the maximum. Remember, it  isn't about how fast you learn a language or the quantity of the language; what matters most is the quality for the language that you can present to someone when speaking to them. It does not matter if you learn twenty Spanish words per day, but yet can only recall three of the words during a real conversation with a native speaker.

4.)  Don't be afraid to practice with native speakers, but before doing so, you might want to ask for their permission. The reason why I say this is because many native speakers may not have the patience to listen to someone who is a beginner stumble over pronunciations. By asking for  permission before hand, you will save yourself some hurt feelings.

5.) The most important thing to take into account when learning a language is to always have fun. If you are not having fun in the language you are learning then you will not be successful in it. You are more likely to lose interested and quit. Always consider fun options when learning new information.

Introduction to Spanish

Which Level of Spanish Are You Currently In?

Did you know that there are many different dialects in the Spanish language? Did you know that the way that Spanish is spoken varies according to the country? Decide which Spanish dialect you would like to learn and which accent you would like to have. Developing an accent will help you to pronounce words more clearly and it will also help people to understand your Spanish better.

Ancestry from Equatorial

Guinea

Learn about the many different forms of Spanish

I have ancestry from Guinea Equatorial. This nation was formerly known as Spanish Guinea. This is the only Spanish Speaking Nation in the continent of Africa. It is located in West Africa and is considered as a Sub-Saharan African nation. Over three hundred years ago Guinea Equatorial was purchased by Spain from the Portuguese in the year 1778.. The Spanish forced them into slavery. Equatorial Guinea was the last Spanish colony to gain its independence from Spain on October 12, 1968.

Unlike Latin America, Equatorial Guineans speak Spain Spanish, which is commonly known as Castellano. Spain and Equatorial Guinea use vosotros instead of ustedes. Certains words that contain letters c and z.

Learning at

Your Level

Have you already learned Spanish before? If so, which level do you feel you would be placed in if you were to take a diagnostic exam in complete Spanish? Do you feel that you would score high, low or somewhere in between? If you do not practice Spanish on a day to day or weekly basis, then you should pick up where you left off in your learning.

Start creating flash cards to better your memory in learning new words, verbs, or

phrases. Scan the cards with your eyes, say each word out loud and pronounce it as is. Do not be afraid that you may sound strange at first, this is only practice. You will sound better

the more and more you begin to grasp pronunciations of letters.

Grammar,

Vocabulary,

& Phrases

Are you wondering where you should begin when learning Spanish? I would say start with the very basics. The very basics include: letters, numbers, vocabulary, grammar, then phrases. If you try to understand grammar and phrases before learning how to pronounce the alphabet, you will never be able to understand Spanish and be able to sound out new words that you will learn on your journey.
